Gerry Preville has more than 25 years of hands-on financial management experience with technology hardware, software and software-as-a-service firms.

His experience includes senior positions with rapid growth technology firms, including Natural Insight, 3CLogic and Ringio.com. His consulting experience includes numerous engagements at firms such as Rosetta Stone, Sunrise Senior Living, USEC, and XM Satellite Radio where he supplied his expertise in financial reporting, restatements and M&A transactions.

Prior to that, Mr. Preville had the rare experience of building a $200 million business from start-up in just four years as Assistant Business Unit Manager at Newbridge Networks. He also served for ten years at Molson Breweries in the U.S. and Canada, holding various finance, sales and marketing positions and assisted with the brand launches of Miller Lite and Foster’s Lager in Canada. Assigned to the U.S., he helped establish Molson Breweries USA.

He is the founder of the Canadian Business Network (CanadianBusinessNetwork.com), a networking group established in 2003 for Canadian-American business professionals and is a co-founder of L:net, a networking group for CFOs. He also presented at the National Institute of Health Office of Technology Transfer and the Northern Virginia Technology Council.

Mr. Preville earned a BS in business finance from Wright State University, Ohio, an MBA in finance from the University of Toronto and studied under Professor Myron Gordon, creator of the Gordon Growth valuation model. He holds a CPA license from the commonwealth of Virginia and two technical certifications. He is a dual citizen of the U.S. and Canada and attended both French and English schools in Montréal.

Steve Slepian has over 30 years of professional finance experience in public and private firms with revenues up to $1 billion. He began his career in the Small Business Services group of Deloitte in their Honolulu office, serving a diversity of clients throughout the South Pacific. After leaving Deloitte Steve served as Special Assistant to the CFO of Frito Lay, Hawaii, establishing a standard costing system for the company as well as an automated route sales system.

Moving to Washington DC in 1987 he worked as VP Controller for a NYSE listed financial services company where he had substantial interaction with investment bankers and the primary rating agencies and was instrumental in establishing the company’s Sarbanes-Oxley internal controls program.

Steve also worked as Global Controller for a fast growing international electric power Development Company operating in fourteen countries in South America, the Caribbean, Africa, Eastern and Western Europe.

He is a CPA licensed in Virginia and holds the Certified Management Accountant and Certified Internal Auditor professional certifications. He has an MBA in International Business and an MA Accountancy from the University of Hawaii.

Prasanna Janaswamy has over 15 years of diverse accounting, management and operations experience in both the US and India. Her background includes service with public accounting, software, pharmaceutical and manufacturing firms. She has worked with Laurentian since 2013 supporting several emerging software and pharmaceutical firms in financial operations, budgeting, monthly dashboard reporting and board relations.

Prior to joining Laurentian full-time she served in various finance and audit positions with Mercury Publishing, Goldman Tito and Ganesan and Associates. While in India, she served as Debt Rehabilitation Manager and worked on complex debt restructuring projects with the Industrial Development Bank of India.

She holds the Chartered Accountant (CA) designation from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce (Honors) degree from Delhi University, India.
