Steve Slepian

Steve Slepian has over 30 years of professional finance experience in public and private firms with revenues up to $1 billion. He began his career in the Small Business Services group of Deloitte in their Honolulu office, serving a diversity of clients throughout the South Pacific. After leaving Deloitte Steve served as Special Assistant to the CFO of Frito Lay, Hawaii, establishing a standard costing system for the company as well as an automated route sales system.

Moving to Washington DC in 1987 he worked as VP Controller for a NYSE listed financial services company where he had substantial interaction with investment bankers and the primary rating agencies and was instrumental in establishing the company’s Sarbanes-Oxley internal controls program.

Steve also worked as Global Controller for a fast growing international electric power Development Company operating in fourteen countries in South America, the Caribbean, Africa, Eastern and Western Europe

He is a former CPA who currently holds the Certified Management Accountant and Certified Internal Auditor professional certifications. Steve also has an MBA in International Business and an MA Accountancy from the University of Hawaii.
